Hello Best Friend, God way up high,
this letter will soar up to the sky.
Not rain or sleet will stop the post,
addressed to you, Heavenly Host.
No news to tell, YOU know it all,
who's standing proud or ready to fall.
So, thanks for what you give each day,
I will never forget to stop and pray.
A million things are on my mind,
I know that you will always be kind.
Even though I may not understand,
all comes through your loving hand.
My life and strife, you are aware,
but I'll never forget your loving care.
The chaos on earth must make you mad,
YOU didn't create all that is bad.
Help me to know what's right or wrong,
I will praise YOU through many a song.
Just a letter to send you my love,
for sending your blessings from above.
In closing, know my faith in you is sure,
help me keep faithful and make me pure.
Tomorrow, I promise to try my very best,
to be invited, in time, as a Heavenly guest.
