A young man named Billy liked to walk silly
Two back then one forward again
Turn around once or twice, three hand claps so precise
Then a jump with a kick at the end
When walking one day in this very strange way
Bill was spied by a man in the street
He started a walk with some very strange talk
On his hands, which became his feet
The man silly walked left and right as he talked;
Gobbledygook coming out of his mouth
Both Billy and he walked silly and free
Bill walked north, whilst the man, he walked south
People stopped to stare at this very strange pair
Started to silly walk on their own
Crowds were elated when new walks were created
Unknown steps then became known
The word spread far and wide about folk on the inside
Of this silly walk place by the beach
They’d go down on the sands, crab walk on their hands
And talk in their silly word speech
There came a decision with rapid precision
It was one that people would not scorn
Because people walked strange, the place had a name change
The town of “Silly-Walk” was then born
