...
When Jesus Christ was crucified,
they ran away and tried to hide.
But Jesus knew disciple's hearts,
impending doom is where it starts.
They thought His flesh indeed would fail,
but, he was head and not the tail.
He rose again, they harboured doubt,
they did not hear the Spirit's shout,
Yet Thomas doubted Jesus' face,
and in Christ's wounds he found God's grace.
We did not see yet we believe,
our hope's not dead nor is it grieved.
He is not far, He lives within.
He honours us, His kith and kin.
Friend, can you hear the silent light
that echoes through despairing night?
He can't be seen by naked eyes,
but only through your hope-filled cries.

Author Notes
This is another poem hallmarking faith, that still stands despite doubt creeping, which is of the flesh, and the pressures around, remember, God hangs on to us, not the other way around.
Jude 1:24 "To Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before His glorious presence without fault and great joy."
