What's the In-Betweens, you say?
you have seen a better day
when you were not sick or tired
poor or sad, tossed or mired
So okay it may be true
you may be alone or blue
scared or cross
down or lost
trying not to count the cost
So, now you need the In-Betweens
all the happy little things
You need a cup of jasmine tea
you need to sit beneath a tree
you need to watch a bird fly free
you need to sing a bit off-key
You need a little drop of rain
you need it on the windowpane
you need a friend that's low and plain
you need a bit of every-thang
You don't need it very loud
you don't need it very proud
you don't need the madding crowds
no you need beyond the clouds
You will find it in the sun
where you are like Everyone
and now you know what you have seen
That you are an In-Between!
