Graham watched the plane land. The prisoner emerged. Graham adjusted his scope.
Mario Rodriguez, the most wanted drug lord, was in custody. He'd stand trial. He'd have to die many times before being released from prison.
But a trial carried risks. Rodriguez's people could free him. He could continue inflicting horrors across the world.
Graham fired. Rodriguez fell.
Graham ran before anyone would find his perch. He'd wait before collecting his fee from the prosecutor who suggested this better solution.
