Taco Bowls

This may sound odd, an ode to food,
but please give me no attitude.
My favorite dish, it soothes my soul,
is any kind of taco bowl.

It's scalloped edges, crispiness,
filled with things that cause me bliss.
Taco spice-infused hot meat,
is to my pallet quite a treat.

Lettuce, tomatoes, extra sharp cheese,
combined together just to please.
Green olives, black if you prefer,
if you do than I concur.

Taco sauce, or maybe not,
salsa perhaps, but MUST be HOT!
I could eat it every night,
for it brings me much delight.

Besides, it's sort of healthy too,
the tomato and lettuce at least are true.
Now disagree with me you might,
but soft-shell tacos just aren't right!

The hard shells, I've put to the test,
but it's bowls I like the best!
There is much that makes me smile,
penning odes to each would take a while.

So, I just picked my favorite dish,
it's breakfast but I'd eat one now, delish!
