Coping from Covid-19
Coping From The Virus
by Raul1
I don't know how to explain it. It is something most negatives and somewhat positives. It has been a bizarre year for the whole world. I felt most of it depressing. But, at some point, it had its positive moment. Weird as it sounds, but it is true.
I am not making it up. But, I'll start with the negatives first. In Florida, it was a sad soap opera. I had to stay with my parents at home. We couldn't go out like usual. It felt like a deserted ghost town. By wearing face masks, I protected myself from harm. I drank lots of water at home.
I was trying to make myself happy and started reading books. I try to watch entertainment, but not much was around. My state was at a high spike at the moment. I try not to count deaths from the virus. I try to think of something else that is positive. I kept my cool from the new normal.
On the positive side is that we are learning our lesson well. After this Pandemic is over I will think differently about the world from then on. I heard a company who created selling face masks for customers had become rich. Amazon is still successful. I think that half of the positive stories have happened during the Pandemic. Believe me, the virus is our enemy, but it has made some positives out of it. I know that it is hard to realize it. But, it is true. Just hear people's stories and you'll see. I couldn't believe it, because we are living in a difficult time right now.
One thing I am happy about is that Florida is out of the spike zone. I am healthy. Thank God! But, it was a rough year for me. It is a little bit much easier at this moment. I am still trying to see the brighter side to this problem. I think of the positives from the silver linings of it. I am trying to cope with it. But, my state and me are in a good place right now. I feel today a sigh of relief it is being solved. I count the days when it is all over. I am doing a terrific job being happy and optimistic about it.
