A Little Likening to 'Ell

by Y. M. Roger

Like latticework loses litigious lines
leaving lesions ‘long lakeshore lees –
Legates lament litanies lost,
leering like listing lifeboats leak…

Likewise, lamplight literally laughs–
luminous, like loony Lenore:
Lush likeable lobes lead lovely lights,
Lantana’s loud livid, lyrical lore…

Later, love’s limitless lost legacy
laments leftover lingerie's lace –
Loosening lean legendary lures
lame leaders lethally legislate.
