Sometimes you have to say...

Goodbye Friend

by Boogienights

I probably won't come again,
knocked on your door too many times,
just finding out now, I was blind.
I probably won't come again.

I thought we'd stand the test of time,
but you were cruel and crossed a line.
Betrayed my trust, it was a crime.
I probably won't come again.

When you were down I held your hand,
you knew that I would understand,
To lose you, not what I had planned.
I probably won't come again.

I reached for you, away you ran,
I was always your biggest fan.
I thought you were a better man,
I probably won't come again.

Sometimes a friendship has to end,
I still wish you the best my friend.
I'd write to you, but where to send?
I probably won't come again.

Failed dreams you tried to follow,
bitter pills, quite hard to swallow.
Left you sad and feeling hollow,
I probably won't come again.

I loved you so, my closest friend,
it hurts to know this is the end.
I'll think about you now and then,
I probably won't come again.

I love you still I must confess,
these feelings now I must express.
But I must give my heart a rest,
I know now I won't come again.
