Winter

by Boogienights

When summer wanes  then Autumn reigns, winter waits its turn.
Ice and snow, cold winds that blow will herald its return.
Nights come early, darkness falls upon a white landscape.
Trees put on their winter garb, pale gowns of heavy weight.
Epic storms will sweep across as inches pile high.
Revealed is work that Jack Frost wrought when storm clouds clear the sky.
