At the age of only three,.
Eileen Myers was thrown into lake Ocokeepie.
She cried out for help but her step daddy Ronald, just
Laughed?
And luckily...
...
Time would pass as Eileen would try?
She would go to the edge and walk up and dip her feet in.
But no further?
...
As more time passed, she would go up to the edge again and now up to her knees?
And as even more time passed?
...
It was July 14th, 1983.
Eileen was now a young woman.
(The age of Eighteen)
...
Yes, it was very hot that day in July.
And, even though she was almost a grown woman, she still was definitely afraid.
But it was a beautiful, sunny, day.
...
So, she decided again to drive to the beach?
And, she loved to listen to the waves and smell the sea.
But no further.
...
Yes no further would she go except to drift off to sleep and dream.
Eileen would dream of swimming in the sea.
She would dream of the day when she could float on an ocean wave...
When she could feel her body drifting so, and know it's perfectly safe...
But below?
...
And, as she was sleeping she heard a voice?
It was faint at first, as if in verse?
Perhaps rehearsed?
Then suddenly, she heard an eerie scream!
Was she still dreaming?
But no, it was a child!
...
A five-year-old child!
A five-year-old child alone and awash in the surf!
And, where was her parents?
Sleeping too?
...
So, without a thought of hesitation...
With no relation?
With nothing but a revelation!
She dove straight in?
...
She tried to take in a breath but she was succumbed!
A cursive gulp of saltwater!
But, she pressed on and knew that there was something that had to be done immediately!
But she could not swim!
Such a sin!
So, Eileen prayed...
...
'Dear Lord God, help me do my job?'
'She's fifty yards awash in the sea.'
'And dear Lord God, she needs me!'
...
She pressed on and suddenly she could swim! 20, 40, 50, yards!'
'And, as she drove under?
And, as She swam to this little girl.
Whom had not a clue?
Under the Saltine Sea.
She reached out and grasped her ankle.
