Western Showdown

The tension was so thick, you could cut it with a Bowie knife. Two opponents — Sam and Jim— lean, experienced, unforgiving, with a single, fixed goal—squared off against each other. Onlookers knew one man would come out on top and walk away the victor, having won the final showdown.

Sam sneered. "You can't beat me, Jim. So draw!"

Jim knew it would come to this. His hand quivered... as he drew the next card.
