World Sleeps

Trinet Poetry Contest Winner 
world sleeps
virus leaks
closing all borders to be free
severed by land severed by sea
hands bound
minds found
prayers sound

lonely time
hearts pine
for answers to prayers asked above
hugging family and feel their love
once more
to restore
as before

childs play
honest pay
freedom to purchase items in need
raise young life from planted seed
hold hand
feel sand
roam land
