Devilish Act

It was wrong. Paul knew it, yet in his mind it felt so right. He could feel both the devil and angel sides of his conscious argue between themselves and reach the final decision.
It just had to be done!
Grabbing the can Paul exited the car and proceeded towards the house. They were in there, probably making love, He couldn’t understand it, he had been faithful, respectful, treated her like a queen. Apparently it wasn’t enough; her heart belonged to someone else.
Approaching the window, Paul could hear the sound of playful giggling. He began pouring gas around the house letting it trail behind him. Paul lit a match and watched as the fire began its onslaught of destruction.
As he drove away Paul could hear their piercing scream. He was victorious, if he couldn’t have her, no one would!
