A bee doing his job.

Honey Bee

Decked out in his black and
yellow uniform, known as
a great team player, emerges
in the early morn from the
throat of a yawning, purple
Morning Glory
 
Carrying his fill of pollen, he
ambles to the blossom’s edge
beats his wings, rises up
toward the maple tree
flies to his hexagon
nest, sweet nectar is passed
bee to bee, water seeps
until honey is stored
