Revelation of Dawn

Minute Poetry Contest Winner

Before the sun has found its way
Above the fray
Of morning chill
On yonder hill

True herald's flare of warming light
Suffuses night
With subtle vow
That here and now

The coming star will ever shine
Its splendor mine
With cloak ablaze
Through endless days…
