The nieghbor finds lasting peace.
Peace At Last
Finally, I hear the sound of
silence all around my home.
I don't want to hear a peep
of anyone, not a word.
I want to be surrounded by quiet
and at long-lasting peace.
Thank God, my dog is checked-in
a hotel. But for this moment only,
I treasure these days with no bothers at all.
Not a loud sound from people,
and all dogs, and monkeys.
I forgot that I don't own any.
Later, I will hear the noise from my dog.
But, for now, this will have to do.
Not a word from anyone.
Animals and humans don't have a
say in this.
I am the ruler in my everlasting of no whispers
at my house.
I will be alone at last with no screams
from anybody.
