5-7-5 tree hugger writing prompt entry
Writing Prompt
Write a three-lined poem with a syllable count of 5-7-5 where line one has 5 syllables, the second line has 7 syllables and the last line has 5 syllables. The topic is a tree or trees.

I know, I know. So many people talk about how 'dangerous' Bradford Pear Trees are, but they lined our driveway when we bought the place and they still do. They are the first trees to bloom in the spring while the rest of the hills are still brown. And they are beautiful!
