A Mountain's Magic

3 Line Poetry Contest contest entry
My Daughter took the photograph in the morning of February 18, 2020. By 1 PM, most of snow had melted. The picture is of the, 8,200 foot above sea level, Ranger Peak in the Franklin Mountains. It is in one of the largest urban, within the City Limits of El Paso, Texas, wilderness areas in the United States of America. Mountain lions, deer and Golden eagles make their home in those hills. Sometimes you may see an African Black Buck roaming the area. The Black Bucks wander away from the prolific transplanted herd located in the White Sands Proving Grounds.
