She's only a little girl
Who could make you smile, from where you sat
She's just a year and a half
Trying very hard, wanting to chat

Not knowing what to do
She wanders around in her daycare
She finds a neat, yellow hat
What firemen sport, she wears with flair

Boom, boom. boom, is that music?
She has fallen in love with dancing
Wants to show off new techniques
Moves to her mat, as if she's prancing

Suddenly she starts her dance
With bent legs, she moves knees in and out
Right into, "shake your booty"
What is this little girl all about?

Back into knocking her knees
Then swings arms, while bouncing up and down
She spins in full circles, twice
Then sits, shocking watchers. What a clown!
