The jury is out, the judges await
Bring forth the rebel now!
Him who goes against the mainstream
Forsake your narrative, take a vow
Jump onboard majority's bandwagon
Before our rule you must bow!

I take issue with your authority, Highnesses!
Your blatant bigotry I can never advocate
My heart renders my voice perspective
My conscience I cannot negate
What a pity to be held accountable by
Those who have only learned to hate!

Author Notes:

This poem is a back and forth conversation and a message to the people who just cannot stand the fact that someone is different than them and so, they forcefully try to conform that mind to be just like theirs!
Also, its about staying true to ones-self no matter the opposition and condemnation you face! If you know that your heart is in the right place then why apologize!?
