Feast Without Meat...

by tempeste

Every Easter the slaughter repeats itself.

Ripped from their mothers at the tender age of 3/4 months; not even given the time to frolic, turn "teens" in sunbathed fields.

Lambs bleating frantically packed tight, often without light, in overheated transporting trucks.

Many will die from thirst, fatigue and sheer fright even before reaching the slaughterhouses.

More than 500.000 lambs each year are killed to celebrate Easter in my country alone.

This slaughter could seize...we could put an end to all this suffering ...we all just have to decide not to buy lamb...or kids ( baby goat's meat)
