Thanks to avmurray for the perfect poppy.
I always loved the scene in the Wizard of Oz where the friends are struggling through the poppy field, sleepy and disheartened, then the towering view of Emerald City, within reach spurs them on. That sense of hope and accomplishment as they ran through the poppies to their destination, always moved me as a young girl.
