A typical day
Discovering daily life

Hail, or shine, I exit the driveway at 6.15 a.m. By 8 a.m I'm replying to urgent emails.
At 4 p.m, I'm on the home commute. My cavalier, Teddy, is excited to hear my key turn in the door.
I climb the stairs to my study. New faces appear. A handsome stranger? A child alone? Two lovers caught in a web of deceit. Or a dowager doing needlepoint in a nineteenth-century manor?
I can't wait to narrate their tales.
Some will have to wait till tomorrow.
Before midnight Teddy takes a final stroll.
By 1 p.m my head hits the pillow.
