A typical day for this working man.
A Day in the Life
by D.F. Wood
My life is like that of a hamster; wake up, get on the wheel, get off the wheel, eat and go to bed, then repeat. Not real exciting.
It's my last year working full-time. Next year, retirement. I drive 75-miles round-trip to work and back, 45-minutes each way. I sit at a computer verifying electrical components and plastic materials in a product's design. I also attend meetings, many meetings.
Supper is ready when I get home. Then, I relax in my recliner with our two dogs. Small talk with my wife and then off to bed.

Writing Prompt In 100 words, or less, describe a typical day in your life. You can embellish a bit--for entertainment purposes--but try to keep it as factual as possible. Show us what it's like to walk in your shoes. Have fun with it! |
Pretty challenging to put a full day into 100 words or less. I enjoyed this.
