Witty animal 5-7-5 contest writing prompt entry
Writing Prompt
Write a 5-7-5 Poem. It has three lines. The first line has 5 syllables. The second line has 7 syllables. The third line has 5 syllables again. The subject is a witty animal poem. No other rules apply.

We have quite a few Nuthatches around and very rarely will you ever see them 'dining' rightside-up... They always fly in, land upside-down, snatch a seed (even from right in front of a bird on the perch!), and fly off again.
