Coconut Sunrise

cool ocean turns to liquid gold
at dawn's threshold
as night mists lift
and seabirds drift

with amber strokes sun paints the sky
she rises high
while dew-kissed trees
sway in the breeze

as stars retire and rest til night
earth basks in light
embrace the morn
a new day's born
