Fall slowly concedes to Winter
Shadows flicker
Sun's rays less bright
Leaves twirl in flight

Then as winter firmly moves in
Gray days begin
Icy blasts blow
Plant growth will slow

Fragile white lace flakes fall on ground
Without a sound
Fingers of ice
Grip like a vice
