Taken by our Lord.

Taken

by Willie P. Smith

The Lord has taken you my dear
Far, above the moon.
Don't worry about me honey,
'Cause I'll be along real soon.

Just be there to meet me
At the end of my Heavenly flight.
I don't know the schedule yet,
It could be day or night.

The Lord has more for me to do,
My time has not yet come.
Wait for me my darling love
My work is not yet done.

I'll miss you every single day
For the rest of my earthly life.
Your love is planted deep in my heart,
My dearest, darling wife.

You've earned your angelic wings my love,
No one deserves them more.
Wrap them around me when I arrive
And through the heavens we'll soar.
