This is the fifth painting in my Natures Dancers series. Male mantii sance like this when fighting or trying to attract a mate. It exposes the insides of their lovely wings. It looks like they are dancing the twist. The painting is called The Mantis Twist. They have been doing the twist for almost 200 million years, and, we humans think we invented it. Hah! Not!
