Nature

by Boogienights

In the darkness of the night,
the moon, it gives me candlelight.
The trees keep the rain from my head,
and the soft earth is my bed.
I love the animals because they're free,
and the pines towering high above me.
I love the wind that rustles the leaves,
a song to keep me company.
I love the birds that soar on high,
how I wish that I could fly.
For then I would be able to see,
everything on the earth below me.
