This work has reached the exceptional level

The Street-smart Bird

The best colors are brilliant and bright
That is what my folks use to say
When I was too small to fly
And wondered about life
Some seasons later
I sit and watch
Neon lights
Traffic
Noise

Days
Nighttime
It goes quick
I feel confused
Rarely ever stirred
Boring blabbermouth birds
Singing some silly sour notes
And I conclude the true spectrum
Drabby and flashy were meant to be
