A man explains why he leaves his wife.
I'm Leaving Her
The author has placed a warning on this post for language.
I wished she were true only to me.
But when we talked, her lies were easy to see.
It’s not that I followed her explained, what I learned.
It was her body's condition on her returns.
Her makeup smudged and hair was always a mess.
The smiles on her face revealed the ventures were a success.
I’ll scratch my head, each time, pondering, “Does she thinks she’s fooling me?”
Tempted, like any man, I could have removed those faces of glee.
But, I considered what will I gain squabbling with a woman who is untrue.
No car, no house, no money, lost pride. No, I won't give her a chance to review.
I’ll take care of all my affairs, get my ducks in a row.
A discussion will not make this honest man better by bargaining with a Ho.
