The story starts with a request to my daughter and only daughter at the time... Dana Alyse Smrkovsky.
And the time period is 1963!
...
"Dana, I know Alex is only a young child but you think that I can come over and maybe?"
"As I baby sit him?"
"If I might have the prevlidge?"
"Of taking him for a walk to the park?"
...
"You know Dad, he's still too young and I'm very protective and it could be somebody at that park that I don't know!"
...
So some time passes and as it does Alex gets a little older now and he's in pre-schoo!"

"Dana after pre-school, do you think I could take Alex out for a little bike ride?"
"You know he needs to learn to ride a bike without training wheels?"
...
"Dad he needs to...
"When he gets home from school...
"To take his nap of course and then after he takes his nap...
"He then gets up and it's almost time for dinner!"
...
More time pasted and now? Alex has entered fifth grade of school!
And, he is going on 11 years old!

"Dana, I had a great idea! School is ending soon and I thought maybe you could...
"Take me up on an offer?"
"An offer to take a wonderful and beautiful balloon ride around the world?"
"In only...
"Eighty Days!"

"Dad, let me just tell you this!
It's been a rough year here since Alex had entered...
"Fifth grade."

"Since he's been diagnosed with ADD!"
(Attention deficit disorder)
"Yes, he's been a handful so...

"Hmmm
"Yes, you may take him and keep him."
"For only Eighty Days!"
"And, enjoy your time with your grandson Alexander!"

So let's start this...
"Around the World in Eighty Days!"
We first left New Jersey and the town of Manahawkin.
And, here comes the Sun and it's alright!
"What a bloom of a Red and Hot Air Balloon!"
...
Yes, was launched of course in New York and the first Natural Wonder we would see?
Of course...
"The Statue of Liberty!"
(A Gift from France!)
So, as we started this dance with the clouds in the Westerly Wind.
And, as if desperately in a spin?
No Wizard Of Oz's Witch so Wicked!
And, it now seems...
"That with transverse for the next...
Quite a few days until we first hit the country known as France!
...
"Alex can you see that?"
"That's the Eiffel Tower!"
"Isn't it not incredible!"
"And, that's our second Wonder!"
"Yes papa that's really Incredible!"
...
The next stop is on to the country known as Italy!
And of course the third Natural Wonder!
Yes, The Leaning Tower of Pisa!
And why didn't they call it pizza, I'll never know?
Since Pizza originates from Italy but then I heard it also was created in China?
You could go figure and Google?

"Alex to see that tall and Leaning Tower of Pisa?"
"Yes papa don't you mean Pizza?"
"And, I love pizza that's my favorite food!"
States Alexander.

So, from New York to France...
To Italy..
"As we now move ever forth and never forward?"

And, in order to realize the trick ending?

So, ever forward or not?
We float now Northward..
For a long, long, distance...
"WIthin the Clouds of God!"
Clue Number Two!

Now over the hotness of the Sahara!
As we see the next Wonder known as the 'Sphinx!'
...
"Papa papa papa!"
"I like this one the best!"
"Cuz, I saw the picture in a story book in class!"
"And popa?"
"I know the Sphinx!"
"And, I know the mummies!" "And, I know where we're at in the country of Egypt!"
"Correct Alex!"
...
"As we move forward to the Eventual Fifth Natural Wonder?"
Clue Number Four!
...
As we fly Northward, we see something quite amazing!
And, after a distance of over a hundred miles...
We see the side of a mountain?
Yes, after leaving the Sahara desert and into the next country!
...
"Papa, papa, papa, what is that below?"
"I don't know Alex were a little bit too high let's go a little lower."
...
So I release small amount of hot air...
And, we start to slowly lower..
...
"Papa, papa, papa!"
"Are we going to land?"
"Cuz I'm thirsty and we're out of water?"
"Yes of course Alex "
...
As I fill up our containers with fresh water from the natural man-made stream... We walk over to see what we had previously viewed above...

"Papa what are those two things over there?"
"Well Alex, it seems to be a makeshift graveyard and there's two headstones." "But they're not marked?"
"As if God had placed them there for some reason?"
Clue Number Five.
...
So we leave that area and it had been forty days of course.
And, of course.
Alex is getting Antzy.
And, we are almost home?
Clue Number Six.
...
"I want to go see Mommy "
"And, I want to go back to school and start my next grade.'
"And, I so miss my friends."
Yes Alexander.
...
"Papa, papa, papa!"
"I can see we're almost home!"
"And, there's the Statue of Liberty again!"
States Alex with excitement.
...
"Yes Alex we are almost home."
"I want to go see Mommy!"
"I want to go back to school!"
"And, start my next grade!"
"I so miss my friends."
...
"Alex I have to explain something to you."
"We're going to have to make this trip of Around the World in 80 Days a second time."
"But why Papa why?"
Clue Number Seven.
...
So we head forward again this time we're already viewing the Statue of Liberty
The first Wonder and ever forward through the next three.
Which of course would be France, Italy, and finally Egypt.
And, back over to view. Sphinx!
...
Again we slowly Land the balloon to the side of the mountain.
And, again to gather water but we are no longer thirsty?
Clue Number Eight!
(Final Clue)
...
"Papa, papa, papa!"
"What's that again?"
"Well I don't think...
"But enough is enough...
"And, it's time to explain this as gently as I possibly
can?"
...
"Remember Alex that we had to land the first time to fetch the water?"
"Because we were thirsty?"
"But then the second time we weren't thirsty?"
"Yes Papa why?"
"When it's so hot over the desert?"
"And, why were we not thirsty Papa?"
Alex questions.
...
"Well Alex, you're looking at what is in front of us now."
"And, those two gravesites you see?"
Yes Pappa?
"Well Alexander the Great Choo-Choo and Hot Air Balloon Comander!"
"God put there."
"And, yes they are a Gift from God because He felt so sad?"
"Why Pappa?"
Asks Alex.
"And, there's nothing on them?"
"Aren't there supposed to be colored pictures from God?"
Asks Alex a second time.
...
"No Alex.
"No colors pictures or even names on them."
"Because we actually crashed into that mountain...
"And died way back in 1963!"
