Lazy River

Quietly, I dive in as the midday sun grows hotter;
Relaxing as I float along in smoothly flowing water.
Submerged in the coolness as it creeps around my skin;
Tranquilly, I’m in a haze as new daydreams begin;
Upon this lazy river, beneath a shady limb.
