A fascinating story of exactly 100 words
Sometimes, Staying in Bed IsBest
by Ogden
.
Alas, once again, although my alarm clock got me up on time, I already was behind schedule. This time, the cat, trying to have the new goldfish for breakfast, knocked the aquarium over, and, of course, the living room was flooded. (I always hate when that happens.) Making matters worse, my eggs were cold, and my bagel was hard as a rock. Then, the car wouldn't start until a neighbor lent me his jumper cable. After twelve miles, I had to return home for my phone, and turn off the still-flickering aquarium light.
Again, I almost was late for work!
