My Lil' Dude

           For teenage trials & fun with friends,
         For rides to work through thick and thin,
       For  tailgate  trysts  with  those  boyfriends,
     For  rolling  on  with  that  crushed  front  end,
   For  secrets  kept  during  long  weekends  …  Thank you, My Lil’ Dude!
   Loud crazy times down by the lake … driving too fast when we were late,
   Blasting  the  tunes  to  stay  awake … cruising  away  painful  heartbreaks,
   Road trips starting before daybreak  …  never so fluffy as your namesake
   Though  all  I  have  now  is  this  great  …  V-W  emblem  as  keepsake
             I’ll Never                                                  Forget You,
               My Lil’                                                      D u d e!

Pronounce 'VW' as 'vee-dub-yah' (three syllables total!!)

This is a photo of a VW Rabbit just like My Lil' Dude from high school! And, yes, before you ask, Lil' Dude was GREEN just like this one!! ;) ;) Thank you for reading me (and Lil' Dude)! ;)
