The Death of a Nonet

In dark shadows, the Nonet weeps in shame.

Another form threatens her dear worth.

Through ages she so brightly shone.

Now she's cast aside like trash.

FanStory's betrayed her.

She begs for purpose.

The Nonet cries,

"Etheree's

just a

thief."

Writing Prompt
The poetry form, Etheree, consists of 10 lines of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 syllables. Etheree can also be reversed and written 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

The Nonet has 9 lines and starts off with 9 syllables in the first line
and drops a syllable each line down until the last line with just 1
syllable. This form, Etheree, does the same thing. The only difference
is it that it has 10 lines rather than 9. Plus, it can go either way, starting
with 10 syllables and go down or start with 1 syllable and work its way up.
So it's pretty well just a rip off of the Nonet with 1 extra line added to it.
This probably hurts the Nonet's feelings. Lol.
