snarling beast.

My eggs in one worn basket,
I toss seeds and pray for rain.
My messy bed? I sleep in it,
'cause it's the one I made.

Life decisions, long ago,
now ripple back in gusts,
I push back, try to retract
the doubts, eroding trust.

Breathing deep, I reach within,
find solace in the beat,
I will the rising of the tide ~
the snarling beast retreats.

Thanks to swcarhaulr for the artwork. I had a little anxiety attack, thinking worst of everything at once. I know it is all in my head, just relax, and my snarling monster started to look like this dude. not so scary.
