Enjoying a summer evening

Summer Eve

Evening time when watercolor skies fade
Flowing cool begins to pleasantly invade
Ground squirrels scamper, crickets begin clicking serenade
High above moon and stars commence an elegant promenade
I rest content on my patio knowing that I am blessed
