I thought all my problems would be gone
As soon as my teeth were pulled out
No more sensitivity to cold
Or bad cheek bites, that make you shout

They say new teeth make you look younger
That's if the plate will fit you right
And there's nothing more embarrassing
Eating with one plate, fearful sight

No one tells you about the down-side
Now using glue every day
I dare not forget to glue them on
Top plate falls down with things I say

My gums feel like it was yesterday
When my teeth were being ripped out
So you can only imagine then
What a trapped chip is all about

I went for the infamous liner
Hoping to tighten the fit up
Made my front teeth look bucked, I got sick
Had to spit them into a cup

Even though my missing teeth still ache
I've got to have a good out look
I'll manage till it's time for new teeth
Now that's an appointment I'll book
