Big City Water Fun

by Y. M. Roger

Poem With These Words Contest Winner

Fire hydrant’s free today…
Kids at play –
Friends all meet
In Spring’s heat

Cement beach in month of May…
Chilly spray –
In the street,
Rinse…Repeat

Cooling drink and wet horseplay…
Fun all day –
Running feet,
Laughter sweet

Ocean waves so far away…
Just hearsay –
‘Cuz this treat
Can’t be beat!
