Pride

Pride is the opposite of humility
It leads you to futility
Pride is presumptuous
Making you feel contemptuous
Filled with pride,
You'll never have God on your side
Pride is when you think only of self
And is best put back on the shelf
Proud is the opposite of humble
It will always make you stumble
Pride is blind,
Implanted in a foolish mind
Pride is severely punished by God, you see
It victimizes your spirituality
