Thanks for asking, my wife just sleeps when I talk about me.

Just a man, says my wife...

…But, who would want to know about me?
Just another old man, that’s all I be.

A son, a father, a husband; the lot
Of what makes a man worthy or not…

A collection of both joys and regrets,
Of pride at the wins, remorse at lost bets.

Love of critters, I’ve scratched many ears,
And when I laid them to rest, shed real tears.

Did I work hard? Depends on who you ask
But, mostly stayed sober and stayed at task.

Did I like to party? Let’s don’t go there…
My creed: Eat, Drink, Be Merry… and, Share!

Would I change my life from way back when?
Maybe do a bit better, but I’d do it again!

At the bottom line, as most, I’m the same…
“Just a man”, says my wife, by any name!
