Don't Go

 Are you really going to leave?
Can we talk on this some more?
If you go I'll surely grieve
and be lonesome evermore

Can we talk on this some more?
For I know I'll never mend
and be lonesome evermore
Please don't say it is the end

if I watch you walk away
please don't say it is the end
Can you give it one more day?

Writing Prompt
Post a story, in rhyme about love. Any length, but must rhyme.
Method of rhyme up to writer.


This is my first go at a Pantoum. The content is a bit "oft-flogged" and a bit cliche I know, but I decided to re-write the poem I'd originally posted here - and which was a contest entry - as I hated it! And thought...why not have a go at a different form of poetry? I hope it's okay!
