A chapter in the book Poetic Treasures and Dreams

Winds of Spring

by dovemarie

A prelude to the winds of spring
Are fierce March winds that feel like a bee's sting
They burst forth, scattering everything

Then come the winds of spring
Making my heart sing,
Softly caressing my face
Feeling like a lover's embrace
They are like a gentle kiss
Bringing me joy and bliss

Winds of spring are full of pleasure
An invisible treasure
Warm mixed with cool
Children are blown along by them to school

When the winds of spring arise
Winter chill dies
With the winds of spring come ocean calm,
A sweet, blessed balm
Winds of spring tenderly soughing from April skies
