Forever My Valentine

by Willie P. Smith

She's gone but still here.
She's far away but also near.
She's everywhere, tho' I cannot see.
She's in my dreams, close to me.
She has her wings and heavenly home.
She left this earth, but she's not gone.
I hear her voice and envision her face,
I know she still shares my space.
I'll see her again in God's good time
I'll love her forever, she's my valentine.

My wife and I met when she was 12 and I was 13. For 60 years thereafter, except for
military, we never separated. It's hard to go on after ,losing a love that lasted so long,
She was the warmest and most loving woman I ever knew. I'll always love her and I miss her terribly.
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
