Classic Character 7-9-7 writing prompt entry
Writing Prompt
For this contest you are to choose a well-know character from classical literature and write a 7-9-7 from THEIR point of view. Examples of the characters are Queequeg from Moby Dick or D'Artagnan from The Three Musketeers or Harvey from Captains Courageous or Friar Tuck from Robin Hood....the possibilities are limited only by your imagination! Make a real impression on us -- remind us just what a remarkable or villainous or hilarious (or whatever!) character they truly are! Remember a 7-9-7 is a short 3-line poem where the first line is seven syllables, the second line is nine syllables, and the third line is seven syllables.
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
