Will This Prompt Go Swiftly To Booth

I hope we all can count to eight.
That's syllables, not words, of course.
For I'll admit, I get irate
and rant aloud with scant remorse.

Why join a prompt if you're inept?
I hope we all can count to eight.
For from the booth the prompt is kept
when one can't count when they create.

We're held in limbo, forced to wait
a day or two for your revise.
I hope we all can count to eight
for very little thought applies.

A one six one or two ten two,
how crappin' hard to calculate?
Don't join these prompts if you've no clue.

Writing Prompt
A kyrielle is made of quatrains (four lines) that rhyme (any rhyme scheme can be used). Each stanza (quatrain) has a line that repeats from the previous stanza. That line is usually the last line in the stanza, but it does not have to be. Each line is made up of eight syllables. There is no limit to the number of stanzas. A Kyrielle is usually made up of three or more stanzas. For this prompt, a minimum of three stanzas is required.


This contest requires each line to have eight syllables. I can almost
bet the rent money that someone will get it wrong though. Lol. Thanks
for reading my little rant.
