An Etheree Entry

Tree Nymphs

by June Sargent

ethereal beauties fluttering wings
beautiful as stained Tiffany glass
yet light and thin as rice paper
flirting and flitting all day
from blossom to blossom
sipping sweet nectar
'til night breezes
carry them
softly
home
